The Ornamental Vessel Lotus, is constructed from vintage Japanese textiles including silk and knotted Japanese cord. Suspended from the pull cords are faceted Agate stones, small lilies and silky ombre tassels, of which add a nice weighted feel. The vintage fabric and woven cord I selected to construct the vessel do show some gentle signs of age.
A Vessel to hold meaningful objects safe, written words, personal tokens or to carry herbal scents, Lavender or perfumed cloth. Can be displayed on a wall or tucked away amongst treasured items.
